Membership Eligibility

A Yoga Professional Member should have completed Certiﬁcate / Diploma / Degree / Master’s degree / PhD in Yoga or any other course of 200+ hours of training.
YCB level 2 or higher certificates and any University certificate of 200+ hours of training.
The fee for Yoga Professional Membership is INR 1000/- for Indian Nationals and SAARC Nationals and USD 250/- for Foreign Nationals.

Membership Beneﬁts

Receive blessings of Yoga Gurus and Acharyas at IYA Events
A YPM would be provided a Unique ID, an ID Card and a Certiﬁcate of Membership (Digital format only)
YPMs are entitled to a free copy of e Monthly – English Yogavani every month. To-be launched Telugu Yogavani will also be sent to Members from Andhra Pradesh.
All YPMs are eligible to Yoga Chikitsaka (Yoga Therapists) / Yoga Chikitsa Sahayaka (Assistant Yoga Therapist) Recognition of IYA.
A YPM will be eligible for discounts on publications of the member institutions as per agreement with the member institution.
A YPM would be eligible for discounts at events of the member institutions as per the agreement with the member institution.
TEN select nominated YPMs will have voting rights in General Body meetings of the Association
All YPMs are eligible to become as Members of the nominated State Chapters
Select YPMs will be nominated for the representation from IYA at various governmental and non- governmental for at the State level.
Selected YPMs will be recommended for various openings as resource persons including Master Trainers / Assessors under MSDE, IYA Academic, Accreditation, Publication and Research Activities, IYA Empaneled Trainers
All YPMs will be eligible to participate in the upcoming Continuing Education for Yoga (CEYP) program
Eligible for own Medallion from the Ministry of Finance, Government of India
YPMs will be invited to all web sessions on IYA AP Social Media
